Job Description:

 

We are looking for experienced, responsible, and energetic people to help run our cafe and fudge factory. We need people who are hard-working and efficient with a careful attention to detail. We're looking for people to take ownership and pride in taking responsibility for a multi-faceted operation. Must be flexible, honest, reliable and hard-working. Applicants must have some experience in the food industry or customer service and sales. 

 

Various positions could include the following responsibilities:

    

 

• Give every customer you serve the best possible experience.
• Keeping cafe fully stocked at all times.
• Keeping the cafe, kitchen, dining area, porches clean and organized. 

• Helping manage inventory thoroughly.
• Assist with training of new staff on full operations and standards of quality and cleanliness and customer service.

• Assist with in-house marketing and promotions.
• Assist with special projects as directed by manager.

• Make fudge.
• Fill fudge orders carefully and efficiently.

Experience: Applicants must have some experience in the food industry or customer service and sales.  Culinary experience a plus. 

 

Hours: Most positions require Friday-Sunday availability through the Fall. Number of hrs per week and months per year will vary with position and fit.
