"Perhaps the nicest and most intimate setting around for listening to live music. These folks offer up a gift to class and culture to the Lakes Region... and great fudge to boot. I am proud to be a regular at this truly fine establishment, and to work with these upstanding, and interesting, people." - Joel Cage, musician

Poor Howard: July 24th
Poor Howard Stith has been performing 12-string blues since 1964. Since starting his folk music and blues career in Minneapolis, Howard has performed throughout the U.S. as well as in Europe and Japan, treating audiences to a mix of barrelhouse blues and lyrical ballads. "His "Goodnight, Irene" secures him a place in the folk tradition of Woody Guthrie, Leadbelly and the Weavers. Blind Willy McTell's "Broke Down Engine" and Robert Johnson's "Ramblin' on My Mind" have found new life in Poor Howard's skilled hands." Concord Monitor.
